Hi matt,
I was looking for a list of UK PR companies and your site popped up, =
hope you don’t mind me emailing some of the contacts on the page.
My site launched 6 months ago and is currently attracting approx 2000 =
visitors a month, some unique but most promisingly, some repeat ones !
I now need to consider;
- Advertising
- Charging for reviews/news threads
- Ways of increasing traffic
Please take a look at the site, I would appreciate your comments, =
http://www.musicreviewpodcast.com
I read a section on your site about bloggers being paid to include =
features in their blogs and the moral dilemma’s that go with it (post a =
better review as they’re receiving cash incentives for doing so vs =
telling the public how it is regardless of being paid or not….)
At the moment, I only make a few pennies a month from Google ads that do =
not appear to be working too well so I am considering turning them off =
and replacing with a couple of advert spaces that I could sell to =
companies on a rolling basis (1 week at a time etc….).
Please let me know if you have any other PR companies up your sleeve =
that I could approach for information, I am tending to steer the site =
down the path of an information source rather than a review site =
(despite the name) as they are very time consuming and I have a couple =
of people whom I can contact for upto date reviews for no charge.
My Podcast could also include news items aswell as reviews, this way I =
am repeating the message and allowing those who subscribe via iTunes to =
get the message aswell as those just visiting the site.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks
Steve Muscutt
