25 tracks to tune into on a Thursday

What is the most important thing in the world? Water? Oxygen? Arguably. I’d like to put the case forward however, that the most important thing, right now, is music.

To argue, i’d like to call three witnesses:

Music is the art which is most nigh to tears and memory
– Oscar Wilde

Music and rhythm find their way into the secret places of the soul
– Plato

There are more love songs than anything else. If songs could make you do something we’d all love one another
– Frank Zappa

Katie Moffat was pondering about ways to hear new music when Sally shared her Spotify playlist. She came up with a playlist for Spotify and shared it. This was picked up by Adam from Realwire and he shared his too.

Sally tagged three other people – Louise, Anne (who’s list can be found here), Chris Norton and Jed Hallam with his brilliant selection.

Jed, wonderfully, has now tagged Robin, Bryony, and me!

So, without further delay, you can get the Seldom Seen Kid playlist here, and read about it below…

Joy Division, Paul Weller and BRMC were among those who missed the cut, and, by the way, this post has been the most time consuming i’ve ever done. Two and a half hours. Honestly.

So, if Elliot, Lolly and Jaz are up for the challenge, let’s see what you’ve got!
